The heating season in Kazan is planned to complete on May 7

The heating switches off with the onset of warm weather

In Kazan, the heating season is planned to complete on May 7. The heating switches off with the onset of warm weather. According to the regulations, heating season ends when the average daily air temperature exceeds +8 degrees for five consecutive days.

After the heating system is turned off, preparations for the next winter season will begin in the city. During the summer, Kazenergo and Kazan Thermal Networks (Tatenergo) will conduct scheduled hydraulic tests.

During the tests, hot water supply will be temporarily disrupted in some residential buildings. The work will be carried out in stages, allowing for the prompt identification and repair of damaged pipelines.

Schedules for hot water shut-offs will be posted on the websites of heat supply organizations, the Housing and Utilities Services Committee, and the official website of the Kazan Mayor’s Office. In addition, announcements about planned shut-offs will be posted on the entrances of buildings and will be sent to registered users of the Open Kazan system via SMS and emails.
